At Paul & Co we make every effort to provide our customers with high quality
products. We dont just talk about quality we set the standards for quality and
document every procedure we take along the way. For our troubles we are proud to have been
certified as an ISO 9002 complaint company.
We start by testing the incoming raw materials for quality compliance in our
well-equipped laboratories. Only when we are certain that the materials pass strength,
absorption and glue tests are they released for the production process. On the shop floor
we build in quality by fully integrating the quality assurance procedure with the
production process. Before shipping we monitor raw materials adhesion, dimensional
accuracy, crush resistance, breaking strength, roundness, rectilinearly, residual humidity
and surface quality. All of these are important factors in ensuring our customers have a
trouble free manufacturing process.
We work to ensure that every core wound has the exact inner diameter, outer diameter,
length, strength and symmetry prescribed by the customer. Whether it be just a standard
spiral wound core or our high end surface treated NG core, Paul & Co works hard to
strive for a zero defect rate. To guarantee all this it is necessary to have highly
qualified competent staff and modern equipment of which we posses both.
Paul & Co works hard to be an environmentally friendly company. Our purchasing
policy restricts supplies only from companies that have the same high environmental
standards. Many of our products are made from 100 % recycled paper. But when the use of
virgin paper is unavoidable, we only use paper made from wood that has been harvested from
specially managed forests that have official monitored replanting systems. The adhesives
we use - sodium silicate and starch glue - are completely natural and are totally harmless
to the environment. We are constantly monitoring our production process to reduce and
eliminate waste. Highly efficient machinery and staff, comprehensive waste management
systems and environmentally friendly production inputs and packaging systems are not only
good for the environment but they are also good for the financial health of the company.
